The InterContinental Group is an international hotel group. The group’s headquarters is in Buckinghamshire, UK, and it owns around 5,600 hotels in almost 100 countries. The InterContinental Addis is located in the Kazanchis, or Cazanchis, district of Addis.

The 194 en-suite rooms are made up of 152 deluxe rooms and 42 furnished apartments. All rooms have Wifi, satellite TV, aircon, fire proof doors, safe, minibar and balcony. Center Point Addis is a revolving restaurant with 360°views of Addis. The main restaurant serves continental and Ethiopian cuisine; other dining options include the Bistro, Pastry Shop, VIP Lounge, night club and several bars. The conference centre comprises 12 meeting halls, 6 of which each has a capacity of 200, and the Blue Nile Ballroom which holds 1,500. All meeting rooms are equipped with sounds system, LCD projector, Wifi, microphones, movable partitions and aircon, and have a dedicated event organiser. Weddings can be arranged. The business centre offers secretarial service, printing, laminating, binding and paper shredding.

The fitness centre has over 100 training machines; the spa has steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, massage and relaxation areas. The hotel also has a swimming pool, travel desk, car rental, bank, ATM, currency exchange, safe deposit lockers and car park.
