About Lewi Hotel and Resort, Hawassa
Lewi Hotel and Resort is on the shores of Lake Hawassa. To suit the style of its location, the hotel is traditionally thatched.
The 60 en-suite rooms are made up of garden view rooms, lake view rooms, bungalows, connective suites, family suites and a presidential suite. All rooms have TV, safe, toiletries and a shoeshine machine. The bungalows are round buildings round beds to match, and with balconies. The suites are more spacious, and the presidential suite has 3 bedrooms and a living area. Dining facilities include a cultural restaurant serving Ethiopian cuisine, an Italian restaurant and a bar and grill.
The spa has a sauna and steam room, and offers massage. The conference centre comprises the Denkinesh hall that accommodates 70 pax, the Adwa hall that accommodates 120 and the Gudumale hall that accommodates 500. The halls are equipped with projector, sound system, Wifi, chart stands and whiteboards. Weddings and events can be arranged.
The hotel also has a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a beauty salon and a gift shop. Outdoor activities include mini golf, boat trips, badminton, table tennis and mountain biking. The traditional village, on the lakeshore, has a children’s playground and a kid’s storytelling place.
