About Kuriftu Resort and Spa, Adama
In the centre of Adama, an hour and a half from Addis Ababa, is Kuriftu Resort and Spa. Adama, also known as Nasret, is less than 100km from Addis and is a popular weekend getaway for residents of the city.
The resort has 94 en-suite rooms, including two presidential suites. The café and restaurant serve Ethiopian food and a selection of international dishes. Wines are supplied by the resort’s partner, Castel Winery. There are also 4 conference halls and a spa with a menu of treatments. The attractive swimming pool is surrounded by white-curtained sunbathing sofas.
Local attractions include the churches around Adama, the hot baths and natural springs in Sodore, and nearby parks with wildlife and birds. Activities include game drives and bird watching. Weddings and parties can be arranged.
