Sona Hotel is in Debark, near the park entrance and headquarters of the Simien Mountains. This affordable hotel is in a convenient location for visitors wishing to walk, trek and camp in the Simien Mountains.

The 32 en-suite rooms are made up of single, double, twin, triple and family rooms. All rooms have table, chairs, mirror, cupboard, clothes hooks and a balcony. All bathrooms have showers with water heaters. The family rooms are comprised of two interconnecting rooms. The restaurant on the ground floor serves a selection of dishes including pasta, pizza, soup, fish dishes and Ethiopian traditional cuisine. Also on the ground floor is the reception, bar, souvenir shop and conference hall that can accommodate up to 350 pax. Outside the hotel there’s a café, coffee shop and car park.
